Lake Louise 2016

Along with posing for (and taking) awesome pictures, Derek presented on our collaborative work with Treventis at the Lake Louise conference: using Time-Resolved Hydrogen Deuterium Exchange (TR-HDX) to reveal the structural basis of amyloidogenesis inhibition of tau protein by Alzheimer’s drug candidates (work by Shaolong Zhu). He also touched upon using the same method to eliminate allosteric effects in epitope mapping (work by Bin Deng).
